From 1982 until 1986, she appeared as Siobhan Ryan at the popular daytime show Ryan's Hope. Her best-known role was Catherine Willows, a CBS procedural drama. Crime Scene Investigation, a show on television that ran between 2000 and 2013, and Immortality the TV movie that was released in the year 2015. She reprised the role in Immortality's sequel Vegas (2022-present). Helgenberger was also famous for his performance in the role of K.C. Koloski as a supporting actor in the ABC drama China Beach, which aired from 1988 to 1991. She was awarded the Emmy Award as Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama Series in the year 1990. Other credits include the TV show Under the Dome (1996), Species II (1998), Erin Brockovich (2000) or Mr. Brooks (2007).
